Project Assistant (3-year contract) 
[Ref.: HMTPU/PA/20/01]
S/He is responsible for the project administration work of an externally funded project - “Start from Beginning- Chinese Supporting Scheme for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students in Kindergartens Extension Project”.  The Project aims to enhance the Chinese Proficiency of NCS students and ensure smooth transition to Primary. The project will cover 2 seed and 20 network kindergartens.
- Handle all project administration work
- Assist in the implementation of project activities and promotion
- Prepare project materials for targeted groups in their language(s)
- Assist in consolidating project experience and disseminating good practices to other NGOs and educational groups
- Support the Project Officer in his/her communication with the targeted kindergartens and parents.
- Tertiary educated, with at least 2-year of relevant work experience in social work or education field
- Has experience in project management, design and implementation of social and education activities for children
- Understanding of Hong Kong formal education system 
- Knowledge of ethnic minority poverty and education issues
- South Asian background is preferable, can speak in Chinese, English and other language(s) of South Asia
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is highly desirable
